Where the Ocean Meets Elegance

Hi, I'm Marlena, founder of Oceania Aura.

Oceania Aura was created from my love of family, jewellery, nature and the beautiful place I call home - New Zealand.

The name Oceania represents home to me. It represents my children, my family, and my love for our beaches, oceans, sunsets, and the natural beauty that surrounds us.

Aura represents a glow. I wanted to bring that glow into my business and my jewellery, but most importantly, I wanted the people wearing my pieces to feel that glow too.

A Dream That Became a Reality

For a long time, I dreamed of having my own business.

There were many obstacles and changes in my life that made me wonder whether it would ever become a reality. But some of life's biggest changes - especially losing people that I loved - reminded me just how short and precious life can be.

That gave me the push to follow a dream I had carried for a long time.

I also wanted to show my children, and now my beautiful grandchild, that dreams are worth pursuing. I want them to see that even when life brings challenges, you can keep moving forward, believe in yourself and be proud of what you achieve.

Where My Love of Jewellery Began

My love of jewellery goes back to when I was young.

I grew up watching my Nan, my mum, and my aunties getting ready to go out or attend special occasions. I remember how beautiful and elegant they looked.

Each of them had their own unique personality and style - from their hair and outfits to their shoes and, of course, their jewellery.

Those memories stayed with me and helped shape my love for simple, beautiful pieces that allow someone to express their own individual style.

What I Want Oceania Aura To Be

Through Oceania Aura, I want to offer jewellery that brings a touch of timeless, effortless elegance without feeling like too much.

I want people to feel beautiful and elegant in their own unique way.

Most importantly, I want to offer pieces that become part of everyday life - jewellery you can enjoy from ordinary days to special occasions.

Our pieces are chosen with everyday wear in mind, including waterproof and tarnish-resistant designs, while keeping our jewellery beautiful and accessible.

More Than Jewellery

Oceania Aura is still at the beginning of its journey, and I am learning and growing with it every day.

Through my journey, I also hope to encourage and inspire others to keep believing in themselves, to keep moving forward through life's challenges, and to never give up on the dreams close to their heart.
